COPY
COPY is the command is used to create one or more copies of selected objects. The copies of the object
can be drawn by selecting the copy tool from modify toolbar. The command format for copy function is
Command: COPY

MOVE
MOVE command is used to move an object or objects from a position to any required position without
changing their size. The command can be accessed by selecting Move tool from modify toolbar.
Command: MOVE

Specify from point»
Specify destination»
ROTATE
ROTATE command is used to rotate the objects through any angle about its base. The command can be
accessed by selecting Rotate tool from modify toolbar.
Command: ROTATE

Specify pivot point»
Specify rotation angle»
SCALE
SCALE command is used to enlarge or reduces entities while keeping the proportions same. The command
can be accessed by selecting Scale tool from modify toolbar.
Command: SCALE

Specify base point»
Specify scale factor»
MIRROR
MIRROR command is used to create mirror or image of an object or objects. The command can be
accessed by selecting Move tool from modify toolbar.
Command: MIRROR
Specify entities»
Specify from point»
Specify destination»
OFFSET
Creates parallel shapes of Lines, PolyLines, Circles, Arcs, Ellipses, Elliptical Arcs, Splines, rays, and
Infinite Lines. A copy of a selected entity is placed at a specified distance from the original entity. The
original entity stays in position.
Command: OFFSET
Specify distance»
Specify second point»
Specify source entity»
Specify side for destination»
TRIM
Cuts drawing entities precisely at the edges defined by one or more entities. Use Lines, Infinite Lines, rays,
PolyLines, Circles, Arcs, or Ellipses as cutting edges to trim the selected entity. Blocks and text cannot be
trimmed or used as cutting edges. On sheets, view tiles can be cutting edges.
Command: TRIM
Specify cutting edges»
Specify segments to remove»
EXTEND
Allows to edit entities that have common boundary edges. Extend expands parts of entities to the intended
boundary edge, letting you close polygons precisely or extend entities to the proper boundary edge. As a
drawing entity expands, they do not change direction. A Line remains a Line, and an Arc remains an Arc.
Command: EXTEND
Specify boundary edges»
Specify segments to extend»
FILLET
Allows creating rounded corners by replacing parts of two Lines with an arc. The filleted entities do not
have to intersect, and they can overlap. If the entities overlap, they are trimmed to create the rounded
corner and the Lines to be filleted are connected to the fillet arc.
Command: FILLET
Specify first entity»
Specify second entity»
CHAMFER
Chamfer tool allows connecting two Lines with a beveled corner. The selected entities do not have to
intersect, and they can overlap. If the entities overlap, they will be trimmed to create the beveled corner.
